19H: The Blueprint is the culmination of years worth of experience at Mydoma Studio, a powerful workflow software to organize and execute your design projects, whether in-person, or online – founded by a designer like you to solve her own problems before becoming the company it is today. We’re so incredibly excited to make the recordings of this intensive, one-day workshop and seminar available to you, so let’s get to it!
This 5-step methodology will teach you how to better guide your clients through the design process, provide a transparent and collaborative experience, and give you a greater insight into project performance. This flow can be applied to a variety of design projects, from decorating to renovation.
Each session includes a recorded presentation, worksheet or template, and a copy of some of the questions asked during Q&A at the live event.
Opening Keynote with LuAnn Nigara
Step 1: Qualification – Learn how to target your ideal customers, qualify them and map a customer journey.
Step 2: Intake – Set up your project up for success. Developing a comprehensive client intake system improves project clarity, consistency and efficiency. Often the most overlooked of the design steps, we’ll show you how nailing your intake equals nailing the project!
Step 3: Development & Step 4: Delivery of the methodology – You already know how to design, now learn how to organize and present your design according to the customer journey you’ve mapped out. We’ll teach you what balances and checks to put in place to keep the project within scope and get paid.
Step 5: Project Conclusion – The Last step but not certainly on the least. Learn how to present the project closeout, perform a project autopsy and take what you’ve learned to find more ideal clients.
19H: The Blueprint was originally a live event that was put on July 15th, 2020. We’ve since taken the recordings of that event, and packaged them together with the workbook and templates. This is what we’re currently offering.
